The two NESSI Working Groups will hold their kick-off meetings jointly in Helsinki on the 22nd of November.

8 September 2006 – NESSI TSD Working Group meets in Paris
 The NESSI TSD Working Group held its first meeting in Paris, immediately after the ESFORS conference held on the 6th and 7th of September.
8 June 2006 - NESSI General Assembly  - Brussels
 At NESSI's General Assembly, NESSI welcomed 9 new partners and announced the new members. The General Assembly was also the opportunity to explain the Working Group structure.

25 April 2006 – European Technology Platforms – a presentation to SMEs
Organised by CETIC and Infopole – Namur - Belgium
This event gave NESSI the opportunity to present the concept of ETPs and the role of NESSI to the SMEs, members of the Infopole network. Serge Druais, from Thales, and Jean-Pierre Laisné, NESSI Board member for ObjectWeb presented both NESSI’s organisation and status.
